@ted I am what the french call a "wetback" or "illegal alien" which is why I chose to revolve my branding around 👽  to own this shit. As a former illegal for 30 years, my wife works at immigration office for US Government deporting ppl & I worked in immigration a while back. Lets clear some misconceptions.

As an illegal you cannot get subsidized housing/section 8. We cant get food stamps. You cannot get healthcare bc I pay for my parents out of pocket. For home loans, you usually get turned down bc you are too much of a risk, same is for college. All these are things I learned being in this life.

Now what California does with is surplus budget money is up to them. If they want to make healthcare accessible their choice. If banks want to loan out bc they are capitalist also them. If colleges want to give farm worker kids scholarships bc their endowment also them.

But the fallacy that we can get free shit is incorrect. Instead what we have is a propped up economy where we pay but we cant take out

this is why i believe in sharing opinions (even if unpopular or wrong) because it creates open discourse that lead to better understanding.

Your point still stands, we need more discussions like this. Outright blocking people for having certain POVs is not the move, we need information that is different than our opinion imo or else we get an echo chamber. See you all in the late night talk ;)

I am Venezuelan, I know 3 people, close to me, and MANY more not close to me that are parasites living in the EEUU and getting free money MONTHLY, and that comes out of taxpayer pockets :) They do not work, they do nothing, everyone knows it and that is why so many people has been going there... USA is doomed if they do not deport all of them...

i wholeheartedly agree with this.   

i firmly believe that if people took the time to have discussions like these and get to know people with different backgrounds, views, etc (rather than stay in a comfort zone of people they agree with) they would likely discover that they are more alike than the media portrays.   

even if they don't agree with the point of view at the end of the discussion, at least they understand the reasoning the other person has...
