No surprise, Trump's SPAC for Truth Social ($DJT) is trading like a memecoin (up ~50% from debut today.) Trump will likely personally net billions. Attention assets are everywhere. Memecoins are the purest expression of the same phenomenon.

i agree but sense @variant's writing on memecoins overlooks the most valuable aspect of an attention asset: staying power Trump may be able to net billions from Truth Social SPAC only bc his brand strength, dedicated fanbase, cultural proliferation and... UTILITY Truth Social provides utility same w/ degen

agree; most memecoins are fleeting unless they convert to community currencies. the diff is utility for the asset. currently, i dont think $DJT is trading on that.
