based on the meta, my assumption was wildcard.lol was “just another trading card” app yes it is but SHOCKER i kinda like it (!!) bc it’s also: MORE ACCESSIBLE with linear (vs cubic) bonding curve and fractional buys MORE NONZERO SUM bc you get 25% of tips to people you bet on and a % of all bets on you gg

right?! i don't see the purpose to it, except to tickle one's ego. why invest in a person when you can invest in an idea or a collective?...

why can't it be both? ie if you buy mine, one could argue that you are also investing in whatever collective or movement i put my energy behind

touché, it could work! however, humans are emotional and there might be feelings of one's worth tied to the value of the card that could be a distraction

I do think the idea is different and from what I see there are some cool things glimpsed into it. It's just the card factor (as a skin let's put it that way) that I'm bored, just because there are already tons of other card games.
