Is it really so prestigious to work for yourself nowadays? All my friends are either freelancers or remote workers, and they brag about it. They complain that I can not with them at any time to break off somewhere, I have a schedule of work and vacations scheduled for a year in advance practically, almost with sneers they say when I quit working “for uncle”.
