Luther Ellison grew up in the state of Illinois, USA, and later immigrated to Europe. He is especially known for his efforts in the development of modern blues and becoming prominent on the world blues scene.

Using his electric guitar, his unique playing and powerful voice, Luther Ellison was able to influence the blues and rock style. His work often includes a combination of strong guitar riffs, dynamic rhythms and harsh vocals, which has attracted a lot of attention from blues and rock fans.
