What is Farcaster’s pitch to people who don’t care about decentralization or cryptocurrency?

“Take back your timeline.” Jonathan Haidt is correct that 90% of social media engagement represents 15% of the most hysterical and demagogic speech. You are probably in the 85% being silenced.

Centralized platforms are no longer majoritarian. The uncompromising tail wags the cosmopolitan dog. Most humans talk in candles—not bonfires. We are sick of bonfire amplification. 

Farcaster is the revenge of the candles.

I find myself taking more time to read, use critical thinking, and reply with personal thoughts here on Farcaster than on centralized platforms, because I feel like I am speaking more directly to the person, if that makes sense.
