Information is about finding truth or creating order. But the creating “order” usually trumps truth in most cases because finding truth is hard. Information can and has been spread through various mediums throughout history, much of it that was dangerous (e.g. “the Rohingya/Jews are responsible for all our woes”) History proves we have plenty of dangerous information.

my initial perhaps uninformed reaction is that misinformation is most dangerous in the absence of context i won't rebut here because i'm sure there is a lot of nuance considering the book is 500 pages long. thanks for sharing
