Spam has always been my biggest fear for FC. It was good that you gated else this community would have never gotten off, but also meant market for a spam solution. 

I used to think we wanted FC on a cheaper gas fee chain, but I’m sure it must be on ethereum. 

Proof of personhood may be needed.

I understand these are thorny, difficult, and opinionated issues. 

But, confident FC community is mission aligned enough to see this through.

Additionally there are two different spam issues here: namespace and Hubs. 

Namespace needs a solution, but ENS has at least some precedent here. 

As for Hubs, maybe each client can choose their own spam prevention technique. Though Hubs could easily get DDOS’d, which is annoying.
