I dove into the depths of Upwork to find one of my web3 clients a freelance designer on the cheap ($50/hr) It is mostly a pile of 💩 but if you're willing to dig, you can find some good talent. I interviewed 12 designers/agencies, and shortlisted 3 of them that were all great fits.

Random thoughts: - So many random NFT projects that never saw the light of day in designer's portfolios - Upwork seems to be the only game in town now that Angellist has changed their pricing - There are solid designers at $50/hr and solid ones at $100/hr with no discernible difference (and plenty of 💩 throughout)

The pay difference if freelance is the individual determining their own worth. I spent years self-employed and I learned my time is always the most precious resource, so I would quote high and get better jobs and have more personal time

Yep that's fair. Charge as much as you can!
