While riding the train Gumpei Yokoi reportedly saw a salaryman playing with his calculator by just pressing its buttons. This gave him the idea to create a simple LCD device containing rudimentary games and a digital clock. Thus, the Game & Watch was born! (1981, Nintendo/Sharp) I wonder what inspired him to also create the Virtual Boy πŸ˜‚
