Alright, I’ve done a thing! The harness and leash set arrived today, now I’m getting him used to wearing the harness.

Not a huge fan, but I think he’s taking it pretty well. 

I’m so excited to see if he’ll take to going for walks, none of the other 4 kitties will even wear a harness 😂

This will be fun!! 

Learning to /catwalk ✍️

Took my cat River about a week to start walking around the house normally in a harness. 

I spent 10 mins about 3x times a day putting it on her

Very brave and chill. However if other cats/dogs are around she becomes overly interested then gets mean 

She has next to no fear (except 3+ story heights) so that’s helpful for exploring but not for self preservation if I’m not paying attention haha 😅

Loves humans (even parties) so I’ll take it

I love that you have a little brave girl 😍 have you had her since she was a kitten or did you adopt her later on in her life?

We have two boys, one is about 9 and so skittish, so I think we have a better chance at getting our 1 year old to learn to love a harness 😅 🤞

Momma and 2 brothers showed up one day under my house. Found homes for all of them and kept River! 

1 shouldn’t be too old.. it just takes time! Patience is the name of the game. My cat legit gets excited when I bring out the leash now 💚

You have such a great relationship with her 🥹💜
