So if your going to test women for testosterone in sports, and decide that some have โtoo muchโ to fight with other women, does that then qualify those women for the menโs competition? And if weโre going to do that, shouldnโt we test all the men to see if they have โtoo muchโ estrogen in their bodies, and if they do then bump them into the womenโs competition?

At what point do we just get rid of men's and women's leagues and just lump everyone together? It is a tough problem to solve. Testosterone is obviously not the only factor, but I'm not sure there's actually a right answer that would make it fair for everyone.

I agree we should just put everyone together. If you want to tease out any statistics on how whatever your definition of โwomenโ are doing in group competition, you can easily tease that out in statistics. But human bodies are so variable we should just let everyone compete together. And of course in team sports you can have A leagues and B leagues so more folks can play.
