It's based on a formula to map an FID to a Pokemon's number! That way each FID will get the same result no matter how many times they use the frame.
Since there are so many more FIDs than there are Pokemon, I did: 
pokeId = (fid % 1025) + 1;

Is this random? or based on some sort of algo?
