Even though Trump later stated BTC and ETH are part of the reserve, this is not bullish for crypto long term. The govt having a massive stash of crypto that they can sell off at anytime and decimate the market is BAD. This administration might not sell, but what about the next one? USA will likely flip from red back to blue after this admin. What then? Dems have no interest in crypto currently.

Price action isn't the goal of something like ETH in my opinion. I don't think this is a negative by any means. The benefit we will get from a regulation standpoint will help builders make better products in the US and for US customers. Fingers crossed at least, I'm by no means an expert.

I wouldn’t say I’m an expert but I did work in the industry at an exchange. ETHs goal is certainly not price action, but price action affected its success nonetheless. This isn’t govt regulation, it’s govt acquisition. Trump doesn’t plan to regulate the casino the space has become because he personally benefits from it and so do his donors. It’s mind blowing to see the govt essentially say no further regulation is needed and existing laws and agencies can handle this (they can’t). It’s even more mind blowing that the govt is acquiring crypto assets before they reign in crypto with regulation. Builders are encouraged to build products that further the casino meta bc that’s where the money is and that’s the direction the industry is moving. I’d like the casino and scammy aspects to be regulated so builders can build cool shit. Products like the ENS are much more impressive to me than another meme coin trading platform.
