Do you compartmentalize them for specific use cases?

moreso when nft collections were big. I would separate out diff wallets for bigger collections so if there was a hack it wasn’t all in one. was also easier to keep organized. also, have separate business wallets from personal and on top of that some are hot and some are cold. have tried to be really good about that hot vs. cold separation in last couple years

I do, bigtime. Vaults for different uses, cold, defi, nfts, some same use different device.
Anything valuable on it's own with whatever it claims or delegate wallet.
Test wallets, social wallets, topic related (security creds), hot low value daily drivers, old wallets that were rotated out of daily use because of their associations.
I advise this approach to minimize exposure as I expect to make mistakes.
