The head of Base, Jesse Pollack, told that the second-tier network has surpassed the mark of 4 million active users. He shared data from Dune Analytics, according to which in the period from August 12 to 18 this figure increased to historical highs. The network recorded the last record in mid-July this year with 3.75 million active addresses.

The peak of daily indicators occurred on August 17 - then the number of active addresses in the network reached 858,850.

Historical records became possible thanks to the Onchain Summer campaign, which network developers launched from June 1 to August 31, 2024. A similar action already took place last year. However, the network's achievements were more modest at that time - the highest daily figure was only 130,000 active addresses.
