Al Sira on @objktcom Al Sira is a Sudanese custom that usually takes place at weddings. They beat the tambourine, dance, and sing, and the groom is with them, going from his house to the bride’s house https://objkt.com/tokens/KT19NzbmrMQzBJFCqk5Mk1scTCgnP4qYeeBB/17

"Shataat" is a Sudanese word that means dispersal. Like a rosary, if it is broken, it scatters into the ground and it becomes difficult to hold it. This is our condition after the war. We were dispersed and each of us became in different directions

“Kandaka” Kandaka is the title of ruling queens or a name that means the first royal wife in the ancient African Kush civilization in Sudan. It is also a strong symbol a strong woman. We grew up hearing “my grandmother was a Kandaka and my grandfather was a Terhaqa (king).

I miss Sudan so much—my home, my life. On January 1st, we celebrated Independence Day, and today, I hope for Sudan to gain independence again, not from colonization, but from war. May peace return to my country 💔. #Sudan_War_Updates #NFTs
