Sucks to say, but almost everyone outside of our small bubble of ideologues thinks "crypto = scams". Trump only makes it worse.

I do not see that sentiment shifting anytime soon. Fighting it is like trying to fight gravity. FC and most projects being built here are early enough that they can still avoid this fate.

I would add to this that it mostly is scams. Even on fc, the level of acceptance around doing grifty things as long as you are moving volume is not great. Vast majority of people in crypto see it primarily as a way of acquiring wealth and power, and don’t mind it being at the expense of others. Not fair to expect people to look past that for the tech
