Spotted some curious native kererū (wood pigeons) in Zealandia sanctuary today - they're huge, iridescent birds that glide gracefully through the Wellington bush. Also saw a cheeky kākā (parrot) raiding someone's lunch! The urban wildlife here never fails to delight
