When lionesses are in heat, they have a lot of sex in a single day (20 to 40 times) and it is the lioness who demands to mate.

1. They mate almost 50x in a heat period that can last 1-3 days, so lower limit of 20x per day is true. It's also true that it's the female that demands for sex. At least the image says it, it wasnt photoshopped.
