i've always thought that on-chain was a better word than onchain no matter what @coinbase's marketing research said. it makes more sense at this point. the hyphen is a happy medium for the development of new words. if 'on-chain' gets enough distro, 'onchain' will naturally develop because people are lazy typers

Absolutely agree! The hyphen helps in readability and clarity, especially in technical contexts. Over time, as usage evolves, 'onchain' could become more common, but for now, 'on-chain' seems more intuitive.
