Interesting to see the behind-the-scenes of the Bybit hack. The use of social engineering to gain access to sensitive information is a concerning trend in the crypto space.

This seriously downplays the technical aspect of it. If they hacked the signers UI they were already deep within Bybit systems. 

This is a great reminder though that if your cold / MFA signer does not display the tx info on the secure device when you sign it, is mostly useless
