If oil can't keep  above 55, Republicans are going to struggle big time at the local level( and the us house districts) in Louisiana and Texas. In reality even 60 dollars a barrel long term  isn't really going to cut it either.

Oil field workers i know irl are all ready getting antsy and are very angry at the president ( the ones I know all voted for him or didn't vote but supported)

Don’t see why this is bad news. Don’t we want to move away from burning fossil fuels? Not being profitable seems like a great way to get there even if it wasn’t intentional
