a year from now, we will look back and say one of two things:

1) wow $degen created a flywheel that allows people to earn some scratch doing whatever cool thing it is they do, that’s awesome

2) wow $degen created a flywheel that incentivized low-effort trash and made farcaster unusable

the choice is ours

As someone who tries to cast quality content (it's mostly my art, so I think it's quality) it's rough to see what does actually get engagement sometimes. All I can really do is keep grinding and trying to make rad shit while making sure to contribute to this community.

Sometimes hits me too seeing blatantly engagement farming cast getting thousands of likes/reolies, but still, they are what they called for a reason 🤣
Only thing a man can do is heads down and grind for your pleasure only, the others will understand sooner or later
