is it generally ok to use designs from nfts you own or is it just all depending on collection? ownership rights isn't always specified in the contracts right?

I mean ownership is of course specified 😊 but I mean what rights an nft owner has

If CC0 or commercial rights are specified (more often with projects than artists) then you can use no problem. If not, assume you don’t have commercial rights and ask the artist first. Soon we will be adding licensing tools for artists so they can easily set their own rules and earn royalties when their art is used.
