Americans are just not calibrated on how far Asia has advanced.

Why? I think it’s partly because there is no mass media depicting modern life in Asia besides perhaps Crazy Rich Asians. Also partly pride.

China is going to pay the bill for all the advancements. What comes out the other side will be the future of China. 

Tide goes out on the housing ponzi (currently happening). Followed by who knows how long the economic recovery will take (could be very short to be fair.)

If it's not short, and the fancy buildings with the fancy lights need replacing. Then is there the capability or more importantly the will to fix it all/keep it running in pristine shape.

I think the future is hopeful but I'm skeptical if that future is already here.
