To me the cause is economic. It just has to be. Income disparity mixed with a culture where this would be a crucial weak point. Traditional roles when it comes to providing for family and an emphasis on displays of wealth. Not to mention owning a home as a requirement as in most Asian cultures. All results in younger generation saying fuck it. No kids. Going to enjoy my life solo then suffer to raise a family.
