It was frames. I’ll never forget frames weekend. Frames popped off which is what made degen pop off which created the feedback loop. But frames was the trigger.

DEGEN making people feel fomo for not being early to Farcaster set the perfect stage for a great product launch (Frames)

But frames made degen more then degen made Farcaster. What made degen special was Farcaster and the community not the other way around

we can argue in circles about what contributed "more" but my core point is Farcaster hype with Frames alone and no DEGEN doesn't happen

there needed to be a coin and we made that happen, but the team never once gave the DEGEN community due credit and instead focused on how the hype was all because of their genius Frames product

about 100 people were excited about frames, and most of them were already on farcaster, literally hundreds of thousands were excited about degen. it's not even close.
