The single greatest ROI decision I’ve made has been this past month where I decided to gratitude journal every morning. A small note book that I have to fill 1 page of everyday. Usually 10-20 items depending on what I write. To think all this happiness was waiting behind such a simple exercise. Your project succeeding won’t do it. Making millions won’t do it. The adoration of millions won’t do it. Gratitude is a muscle and you have to exercise it. But it’s worth it. It’s so worth it.

Have any examples (can be madeup) showing the range of things (esp on the low end) you're grateful for?

hahaha, I kept forgetting to respond too. So it really varies. Some will be meaningful, some will be like "this glass of water", or "air." A lot of it will be my fit, what I'm eating, or a piece of technology I'm using. Sometimes I'll sit with it, ideally this is what I'd do most of the time. I used to day dream a lot, but I've gotten better at cutting back on that. I also used to scroll social while I did this exercise but I noticed my energy levels would drain. I'd cultivate a really positive energetic mindset and 5 min later it would be back to 0. Really made me aware of the effect of social on my mental. To see the difference so obviously. I'm kind of brute forcing it. By doing it everyday. If I did it the ideal way in terms of sitting with it, really soaking it in, idk if I would be as consistent. It's not about how I do it, but that I do it. I'm hoping this will continue to compound. I accept that there will be beginners luck, then a whole lot of nothing. But at the end it will all compound.
