Going through the process of buying a car in Spain. Dimensions to think through the decision:

-used vs new?
-what brands are the best value/quality in Europe?
-medium-sized, but not too big (needs to fit 5 people, but not too big or it's impractical in a city)

Primary use: shuttling kids to school + weekend trips all over

What would you recommend for a family of 5?

Genart collector. Tinkerer. Investor. Crypto maximalist. Nomadic traveler w/ my wife and 3 kids. Temporarily settled-ish in Spain

We definitely liked the Skodas but chose a Citroen C5 Aircross. It’s a compact-ish SUV and, crucially, had an actual middle seat in the back row. Our not so little one has her own seat and not relegated to an arm rest 😃

Don't take my advice on cars 😂 but if you're able to find them in Spain Skoda (a Czech make) is the go to in a lot of central European countries I've visited! I think it's a less expensive version of a VW
