@sydneyjason how is your entropy collection coming along?

Hey thanks for the question. "Collecting entropy" is a bit of a mantra to guide my NFT collection. Though perhaps more accurate as "collecting entropy and algorithms with pleasing compositions".

Rewind a few years when I started poking around NFTs, and as a newbie, it was hard to differentiate between any of a gazillion PFP projects and Punks/BAYC/etc. While some PFPs have emerged as status symbols and others with lasting communities, it's really hard to differentiate vs projects that will slide into oblivion.

Entropy to me implies combining computer science, math, and the arbitrary features of blockchain - hexadecimal hashes, timestamps, connections between wallets, etc.

While all generative art is about an algorithm, there is a spectrum about which the code lives offchain <---> onchain. If artists want fully deterministic outputs (i.e. repeatable every time the art is rendered), then everything must be fully onchain, and the code can't include random() functions.

Fully deterministic, onchain generative art is super interesting (to me). I like to tinker and will keep supporting projects that push limits.
