A fantastic title made me read a light novel after watching 2 seasons. 
Asato Asato wrote a masterpiece that made all fans get a full range of emotions from joy to tears - a story about war and inequality

I second that, I have only watched the anime and it was great, even made me tear up. Unfortunately I can't get into light novels, I hope the rest gets animated
