So last night, Senate Republicans adopted a budget resolution to spend another $342 billion on defense/border enforcement and allow for $516 billion in cuts over 4 years. They held a vote-a-rama on amendments but it was pretty weak. The only good amendment was from Rand Paul. https://t.co/fZy4cGiiC2

Right...! So much Farcaster magic in one thread. nnIt helps that there's already a lot of common ground between island folks and former residents of Hawai'i, but even so, that was really unexpected and delightful.nnI watched the video. I've long been aware of many of the issues mentioned, but I learned new things from it too. Heartbreaking, maddening situations for native Hawaiians.
