I mean you’re not wrong but it also doesn’t help the community. I’ve seen real genuine people stop participating in degen because they didn’t like the changes and anticipated this happening. This guy isn’t helping the community, just farming for himself

I agree on the farming part. But if e.g. you see a new LP giving 4k% APY, and you jump on it, earn that interest, and after a few days, they say there was a mistake. And ban you from participation in that LP, then take away your rewards, is that OK? Are you hurting the community?

I never said to ban him. He’s taking advantage of a poor system. That’s nobody’s fault but the people that put the system in place. Myself and many others said this would happen. My argument is that it’s bad for the community and pushing genuine people away. I’d be willing to bet this guy dumps everything at claim/when tokens unlock.

I'm having a simultaneous discussion with @maretus so I mixed things up, my bad. But yeah, completely agree. We all knew this was coming. And for sure, this is an immediate dump, both at claim day each season and at the end of locking period.

SOOO many people opposed this new system or are not comfortable with it and knew it would be manipulated worse than open rank allowance. made even some creators leave. this is not the way

That's why I think it is good this is talked about. There is still time to change this. But outright banning them with keeping their Degen locked is WRONG. Some people here talking about how this promotes good content, interaction and whatnot are clearly not looking at the numbers.
