I don't understand the difference between Farcaster, Recaster, Supercast or any other type of cast.

Can someone explain this to me like I'm 5?

Like what are on now is farcaster / warpcast why would I want to use recaster or supercast as well? 

It just seems silly. When I use YouTube I don't need another app called metube or something lol

each one has like a little bonus of itself
