As far as I can tell from the payloads of the requests that are causing Internal Server Errors in Sonata, they are all YouTube video IDs, so it appears that this problem is occurring when Sonata is retrieving YouTube data.

I really appreciate people who can give constructive feedback like @djfreak.eth
