Biggest thing holding onchain music back (and music in general) is anytime someone tries something new people find ways to shoot it down because it doesn't directly benefit them. There's such a scarcity mentality around music that it's no surprise most people don't consider it to have value.

It almost feels like the opposite of a scarcity mentality in the age of streaming. People think there's so much music out there, that how could one song, in this day and age be worth paying for. These people don't understand onchain ownership of art.
