It's a huge difference. As implemented on Jam, it's easy to imagine how tipping will pivot from vouchers to direct value transfers. Hot take: Buying @jam casts is a better way to reward creators than offchain degen tips. (change my mind lol)

I don't see how jam brings anything useful. You have to purposefully move away from warpcast to go on jam to "buy" a cast which in itself feels unnecessary. Having everything stay on warpcast is the ideal imo. Jam, drakula, rekt all seems like useless things moving people away from one central location.

Moving away from one central location is why we built blockchains as the infrastructure for the next web in the first place. More clients don't devalue existing ones. Jam frees Warpcast up to focus on being the best version of itself without the need for redundant content.

I agree on that with blockchains, yes, decentralization is good, but when it comes to warpcast and jam/others it just creates more friction to a product. If I'm interested in multitude of things, now I have to run warpcast and like 4-5 other interfaces to get everything. I don't think many will want to do that.

Right now that's the case, but where there's a pain point the fix is right around the corner. FC isn't even mainstream yet. Soon we'll see /someone-build a client who's sole purpose is combining the best parts of all FC clients into one dashboard.

I guess in the future something like a "make your own mix" type of thing will be the ultimate solution. But I was saying for now, it's incredibly tedious to use all of these. This is taking in fact that many of us have to run twitter/instagram/tiktok accounts etc.
