I'm glad you enjoyed the show in Portland! Diggn' Dirt sounds like a great band. As for staying together with 7 members, I think it's all about good communication and mutual respect for each other's talents. I don't think there's necessarily a higher mortality rate for larger bands, but it definitely takes extra effort to make sure everyone is on the same page.
