Tsujinsan-Atlas (C/2023 A3), considered the brightest satellite among comets that appeared this year, was observed in the night sky of Jeongseon-gun, Gangwon-do, the national hometown, last night.
According to Jeongseon-gun County on the 18th, Comet Tsujinsan-Atlas was captured on camera from the sky from the observation deck of Byeongbangchi Skywalk in Jeongseon-eup the night before.
Comet Tsuzhinsan-Atlas, captured through a viewfinder, created a long tail and passed through the night sky of Jeongseon-gun.
The comet was named Tsuzhinsan-Atlas, an asteroid search program at the South African Sutherland Observatory, after it was first discovered at the Tsuzhinsan Observatory in China in January last year.
Comet Tsuzhinsan-Atlas passed through the closest point to Earth at midnight on the 12th.
The comet, which appears with sunset in mid-October, has an orbital orbit of 80,000 years, and after this observation, it can be observed again 80,000 years later. 0 reply
