A new bill has been introduced in the New York State Assembly that would allow government agencies to accept payments in digital currencies. The bill, introduced by Representative Clyde Whannell, proposes that government agencies would be able to accept Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash for paying fines, taxes, rent, and other government debts.
