Since ancient times, Venetian masks have been used to conceal the identity of people who had reprehensible intimate relationships or were involved in openly illegal activities. $Masks appeared several centuries ago in Venice, these characteristic masks were made of papier-mache and abundantly decorated with fur, fabrics, precious stones and feathers. Over time, the masks became a symbol of the Venetian Carnival— a magnificent procession or street fair praising hedonism 🎭

I had a mask from the Venetian carnival, but I never hear about hiding diseases, thank you 🎭
