1. Medicine: a broad category with a lot of funding—someone will fix something. 

2. Fusion (hot): perfectly well understood; simply an engineering problem with decent funding.

3. Weapons: I’m guessing you mean fully autonomous fighters or something—safety issues.

4. Longevity: tests will take ~ a lifetime.
