@supertightwoody Recently got a Ableton live license. Ive always been a mosterous fan of Ryan Hemsworth and really wanted to experiment with some fun light hearted productional along the same scope and Ryan.   If you could give a ableton newcomer one tip, what would it be.  More over, are there any ipad apps that compliment the Ableton software. OG hemsworth was goated.   Still listening to this mix like 15 years later.

Hell yeah!  I'm a fan as well :) 

For creating this style of music, my one Ableton tip would be to dig into automation.  Once you have a solid loop, it's easy in Ableton to use automation to make things sound more interesting.  This goes for using fx on loops, individual sounds and buildups.  I know there ARE iPad apps that are cool but I'm not well versed!

yeah im just trying to learn in small segments at a time. for example just simply putting vocals of a track over instruments of another, then making simple melodies of my own to blend in.  its insanely humbling
