Hot topic a few years back and I think it's cooled off a ton. BUT. Gaming is such a massiv opp for NFTs/tokens etc. Still think it has big boom, not sure when. What are your thoughts on blockchain gaming?

Idk if this applies but it would be nice if I actually owned the games themselves. I worry about all the Steam games I own.

I think the best way blockchain gaming works/hits the mainstream is if it comes from someone with serious background in gaming industry (making games is incredibly hard, let alone good games) and that the end user has absolutely no idea blockchain is involved, just focus on the benefits and less of the "how"

My thoughts: Blockchain gaming has strong potential due to its unique asset ownership and play-to-earn models, but widespread adoption timing is uncertain.

My personal take has always been that I don't like the feeling of going backwards in quality / graphics just because its onchain / crypto gaming With tokens being the main market sentiment now I have been accumulating: IMX PRIME PIXL Would like blockchain gaming to lead with gameplay too

too much friction still gamers think anything blockchain related is a scam & nothing currently is changing that view good games take very long to make & the talent to make them is highly incentivized to stay away (nearly) all blockchain games currently are terrible

I think it has a lot of potential, but I think there are some hard problems to solve when it relates to gameplay and NFTs. For instance: How do you keep the ownership and transferability of NFTs without making the game pay-to-win as a result? Is it okay if players can immediately buy the best NFT item on your market?
