Nevytskyi Castle is a dilapidated castle between the villages of Nevytske and Kamianitsa in Zakarpattia Oblast 🇺🇦

The history of Nevytskyi Castle dates back to the beginning of the 13th century, when there was a wooden fortress in its place, which belonged to Prince Danylo Halytskyi. At the end of the 13th century, the castle came under the control of the Hungarian kings, and in the 15th century it became the property of the Druget family, who carried out the first major reconstruction of the castle. In the 18th century, the castle changed owners again and was bought by the Schönborn family. Under their leadership, the castle was transformed into a comfortable city palace and surrounded by a park in the style of an English landscape.

Today, the castle belongs to the Synevyr National Reserve and is a popular tourist attraction.
