Mezyna National Natural Park, Chernihiv Oblast 🇺🇦

The park was created for the purpose of preservation, reproduction and rational use of typical and unique natural complexes of Polissia. 

The territory of the Mezyna National Nature Park belongs to the Novgorod-Siversky Polissia and stretches along the right bank of the Desna.

One of the features of the park is the absence of large areas occupied by uniform vegetation. 43% of the territory of the park is forested, 16% is occupied by meadows, 2% by swamps, and about 4% by water. The watershed spaces are plowed and occupied by agricultural land, the share of which is 35% of the park's territory.
