Remember when Twitter was cool? 

Remember when Tesla was cool?

I'm over here trying to figure out what happened to them. I wish I could spot a common thread.

I'm not referring to the CEO or his politics at all. He can do whatever he likes, with recognition that his antics do have a bearing on his work. I'm referring to the success of two flailing companies that I could easily love.

Idk, they're still cool. Sometimes our political views interfere with our perception. I personally don't care about the political views of the person behind these brands.

The mental software and collective culture to grow a startup is quite different from that required to sustain a large established market leader. It’s rare that visionary founders and disruptors are also great stewards of later-stage businesses. Maybe this has something to do with it

Still love my Tesla. Twitter...eh...not so much.

Imo Twitter under Jack Dorsey was really btc maxi toxic also, the bias so ingrained in the network is was a little ridiculous
