"Crypto values" seem so clear until they come into conflict.

Make it permissionless: "I don't own anything!"
Make it self sovereign: "I'm being censored!"

There are always trade-offs, but I'll always look for places that make the balance feel comfortable. As I'm looking for more opportunities to engage here, I suddenly feel far less welcome and engaged.

Less valuable content -> less engagement -> less new users.

Forms a parallel to the data minimalist approach intended from other changes, likely efficiency driven. I’ll be optimistic and say this also is temporary.
