unfortunately for altcoins, this news based market is very scary for retail. paradise for traders for sure, but most retail just buy and hold. this volatility is too much for them. that's why they're leaving. and spot alts trades are going away with them. at least temporarily until a sustainable catalyst emerges (which I think is still around the corner), it's just a very difficult period that we have to get through in the short term. yeah, I think so too
